Anyone have experience with this custom 1911 shop? I am seriously thinking about giving them a try and would love to hear some opinions from someone who owns or has owned one of these guns.

I read that the former owner of Dan Wesson started Fusion. He and the company have a very good reputation.

They look good and the price is right. My buddy has one and he loves the thing.

I heard they were going to make a double stack 1911 soon but I can't find it on their site.

I have built their 10mm Longslide for my father. Excellent attention to detail in parts and slide/frame fit (I, of course, needed to fit EVERYTHING else

). Would highly suggest their frames over other manufacturers if someone wanted a truely finished piece of weapon as opposed to a cobbled together special.

One of my 1911 builds had a Fusion slide. I found it to be in spec., high quality, with no issues.
