![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I know I keep asking about different guns, but it's like tatoos, you can't get just one. So what does everybody think of a Springfield XD subcompact in 40 cal. for a C.C. gun ? Thanks for any help you might be able to give me to make up my mind. |

![]() ![]() | I've got one, carry it in a Comp-tac Minotour holster for CC. Have a xD Paddle holster for OC. It's not the most accurate gun, mostly because I'm not the best shot, but also the 3" barrel isn't exactly made for precision accuracy outside of 7 yards. I love it though, loaded chamber indicator and striker indicator are nice as well. Can visually or by touch tell if you're loaded and ready to go. I'm up to probably 300 rounds through mine and no problems what so ever so far. I've not shot the 9mm version but I can tell you that the .40 recoil is manageable. Try it out first though, some people hate it. Anyway, I love mine! Did I say that yet? It's great! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I have an XD9SC and my brother the 40. Still can't seem to con him out of his yet! IMHO they are superb little pistols, easy to use, compact, and decent capacity for their size. Definately recommend one! Tell you something strange though, I am actually more accurate with mine and my brothers with the short mag than I am with the extended mag. Still haven't figured that one out.I tell you what though, I like to had a heart attack when I read thru the replys, Not one damn Glock comment yet! Keyword, YET! ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I have one and love it. Still not thin enough to wear in a SOB under a t-shirt only but it is very accurate and only malfunction I had wasn't a malfunction. I have always had hammer guns and the third shot she ripped my thumb nail clean off of my support hand... OUCH!!! They are great guns and conceal well with a IWB comfortable and light. I prefer the short mags as well. |
