I recently came down with the CZickness and figured out that the Rami BD in 9mm is going to be my next CZ "fix" to replace my M&P Shield. :)

Unfortunately, now that I finally figured out how awesome this little gun, nobody in NWI or online has them. Is this just a Holiday shortage kind of thing or are CZ's getting harder to find as a rule?

FYI, the CZickness does appear to be contagious waaa2, as my son is looking to make the Urban gray P 07 his first gun.

You'd have better luck looking for the holy grail instead. They are a myth. Don't exist. If you do happen to come across one, you'll have to forfeit it as there are others who have called dibs first.

    :):

They dont come up very often at all. When you see one, buy it. Don't hesitate at all.

Rusty, Thanks for the feedback. Thats what I was afraid of! :( BTW, can I print out your post to show my wife when I finally find one? She always thinks I make this kinda' stuff up to justify a spur of the moment purchase! :):

Merry Christmas to you and all the great Ingo members! I have learned a lot from everyone here over the past few years and I'm very grateful. Maybe I now have enough experience to start contributing as well.

There are a few guys on here looking for one, myself included. Like Rusty said, they are a unicorn, almost a myth. When he said not to hesitate if you found one he meant it. I've seen them go out of stock FAST!

I picked up a Rami P (talk about rare) a few months back. Nice gun, but a bit small and fat for what I want. If anybody is interested hit me up and I can provide pics. It's 9mm.

I lucked out with getting one from the Typhoid Mary of CZ's here on ingo. It has the full on Cajun treatment as well.

I third the hard to find sentiment. I've had mine for a few years now and they were getting tough to find back then. Absolutely adore my rami bd. I added the ultra-lite spring kit from CGW and still want to change the trigger out to the 85c trigger someday. It's definitely a tack driver for a 3" bbl. When you finally find one, BUY IT!

Does the BD just mean single/double action? There is a rami on gunbroker now not listed as BD but the description says single/double action

Would someone 'splain why the BD is so sought after? I have the safety model, properly customized of course, and it works just fine for me. Since I never use either of those devices I am curious why it is a must have. Thanks.

Having the safety on a DA/SA piece is confusing to me as well......SA I get it totally but not otherwise.

Once Cajunized the hammer isn't under all that much pressure. You lay your thumb across the flat top of the hammer and ease her to half cock. Faster than a decocker anyway.
