    Rhino,
    Hammerli 208s and a Benelli MP95e.
Yes, these were my Bullseye pistols.
    Conventional Pistol, a humbling event.
I'm down to mostly shooting bowling pin matches for the last few years.
Although in the winter months we shoot the texas stars at MCF&G.
Here's my newest tool for bowling pins:

The old man is scheduled to have eye surgery soon,
we hope he'll be able to see well enough to shoot with us again.

    Hope you are well.
May you never run out of "gettin' home ammo" in 2017 and beyond.

Hah! I am well, sir, and I hope you are too.

I've never had the chance to shoot a rimfire pistol like either of those. The closest I've gotten were some High Standards.

Maybe I'll come to one of the cold weather Texas Star matches to see you and some of the others I haven't seen in a while. I don't think I've shot pins since the old guy (not to be confused with the Old Man) with the Ruger Vaquero beat me after he made a full six round reload!

Does the Old Man have cataracts? My optometrist tells me my lenses are getting cloudy, so I have that surgery in my future.

    Rhino,
High Standards are awesome, and at one time were THE 22 for bullseye.
I've had a few unpleasant losses at bowling pin matches.
Sometimes I have an excellent (for me) run (5 for 5) and still lose.
    Oh well.
I find the texas star a humbling experience, but I'm improving.
Please do come join us sometime. Mark, Don B and Old Man are usually there.
The bowling Pin match and texas star match are run by John Freeland.
He does an excellent job as match director. And Don B is the bomb.

I think it is cataracts for the old man.
He had one surgery but it was not as successful as expected, so he's having another.

Okay, that settles it! When is the next match?

And please convey my regards to the Old Man. I hope the surgery goes well and he has a speedy recovery!

Those are sweet. I've shot a Benelli Atlanta and a Sig (Hammerli) before. Both great shooting and pointed well. Always seem to do better with the Hammerli though

Rhino, hope you can make it there.

M67, both of these are capable far beyond my abilities.
The grip angle is very different with them.
I got the anatomical grips for the Benelli from Canada.
Hard to find left handed anatromical grips for anything anymore.
Used to have a ultra dot on the Benelli too, not sure where it is now.
Probably in a box of stuff around here somewhere.

Hopefully, I get these two out to the range more often this year.

    Twangbanger,

Yes it is. S&W model 929.
8 shots of 9mm using moon clips.
The grips ar Ahrends Retro Combat Stocks.
The finger grooves just happen to fit my hand perfectly.
I hope to develop an effective load for 147 gr HPs before it warms up enough to shoot bowling pins.
I figure I'll use this one early in the matches and switch to the 10mm when the pins get heavy.
    Hopefully, I'm done accessorizing.

    Happy New Year, y'all
