    Were the receiver and barrel saved from some famous fire or something? It looks... hurt.

    I love what Turnbull does but I don't care for this one. The frame just doesn't match the barrel. Maybe different grips?

    Deep red walnut grips, case colored grip screws, leave the barrel portion of the receiver blued, case color the portion of the receiver above the frame.....and it might have a chance

    Doing that to the entire receiver/barrel......it's just a lot to take in

    The frame needs to be a polished blue though, not just a black. Or that midnight blue cerakote. Maybe case color the trigger too.

    Meh, why go with that overdone color case hardening when you can instead get a plain jane version, at a much better price, and not have it look butt ugly?

    I just saw this in the latest American Rifleman. I agree with everyone so far. I normally love the look of color case hardening, but that's just awful.
