I picked up my Glock 40 on Friday. The 10mm with a 6" barrel, my first glock btw. I was shooting American Eagle and Armscor both with 180 fmj. The recoil is not bad at all. Comparable to a 40s&w. Shooting was done at 20yds and it lays them in there nicely. I've not tinkered with any of the back straps for the grip. As is, it's not very comfortable. I have big hands and can see the grip being less desired by someone with small paws. I liketh a lot.

My 40 MOS is my only Glock and now my woods carry gun. No complaints other than it's ugly.

I wish they would have had the G40 on the market when I bought my 20SF. I love 10mm.

Alas, I couldn't afford to shoot it much (always ended up shooting .40sw), and it was a tiny bit bigger than a preferred for carry, lol!
