Ok I'm thinking of buying a CZ P-01 and replacing my Glocks with this as my carry weapon. Someone talk me out of this insanity!:runaway:

    Austrian to Czech Republic eh?

I dunno, the CZ series of pistols have been around as long as the 1911 pistols. Long running design. Can't be all bad.

I've owned a couple P-01s in the past few years and always regretted getting rid of them. I've never regretted getting rid of a Glock even though I have always liked them. Decisions decisions....

The CZ fits my hand soooo much better than the G19 does. However I lose the same-feeling trigger pull of the Glock which I like. The slide is shaped such on the CZ that I have a harder time grabbing the serrations to rack it. I guess that's my only major complaint at the moment.

Buy and shoot and carry what you want................

I have a few GLOCKs, but very little experience with CZ. I have, however, heard a lot of good things about their products. [exeptions being the CZ100 and the RAMI and that is just from internet chatter]

If you like it; that's what matters! It is a good looking gun, though it gives the appearance of maybe being a bit heavy? Never held one.

You can always get another GLOCK. They are everywhere...........

Don't get me wrong, I'm a big GLOCK fan, but they are so common around here it is nice to see people toting something a wee bit "different."

I have a P-01 and really do love it so I think you did great. I will not get rid of my P-01, or if I do it will be for another one down the road as I like it too much. Could not handle a Glock myself, so I got a M&P compact for carry instead!

Can't say enough about how I like my CZ, truly a great pistol.
