![]() ![]() | New Toy, Glock 26 OD I just got a new toy, nothing special about it yet other than its mine. Night sights are coming. But what ammo are others using? I carry 135gr federals in my current Glock. I know these would give up to much velocity out of the 26 barrel. I see people saying they carry ammo under 100gr, I don't like that idea. would 124gr +p or +p+ be good out of the short barrel? or are most people using the 115gr ammo in these in a high pressure loading? shot plenty of +p stuff but never +p+ is there much difference? anyone know of a place that sell federal HST to public? they look so good in gelletin and water. heres an amateur testing g26 and ammo w/good pics. ![]() ![]() ![]() | I always carried 115 gr hp's standard pressure in mine and felt very happy. I did try REM 124gr +P's and was happy with those although you do get more blast from them. ![]()

| 'Tis but a flesh wound! | I like the Speer Gold Dot 124gr+p in my 9mm, but have been looking at the HST line also. I like the expansion I've seen in tests on the HST.

| Shooter | Here is a test I just found. StoppingPower.net Forums It basically shows the same performance from the 147gr HST in a g17 as it has in a g26. |

![]() ![]() | I decided on Federal 124gr +p HST for my 19 and 26. My Federal ammo catalog didnt have HST's in it. But heres a link with a campare feature. LE - Tactical HST and as soon as I get extended slide release on it Ill post some pics. Out of the Non + round count finger extensions what are you all using? Right now I think im set on factory mag in and 2 g19 mags as my carry set up. Last edited by Tim-g19; 05-20-2008 at 14:47. |
