A 229 Elite is in my future. I absolutely love the look of these and add to the fact that it is a Sig... I don't really see how I could go wrong. Would also very much like to have one of the Blackwater P226R's.

Don't know about the elite, but I sure do like my 229R. Was just saying on another thread how I'd been plinking this afternoon with it... Got the two stepper .22 . That's lots of fun.. I got the .40 centerfire kit for mine, and am very happy with it, too.

I was shooting my Blackwater 226 this afternon. {Old model that came out a couple of years or so ago, but I do like the look of the new model Blackwater} Very sweet.

Sigs are very nice pistols. I do blanche a little every time I look at their $ tag, however. I guess that is why I only own one.

I had a 226 elite St, while a great handgun when I open the box I found rust spots so not to a good start and for some reason never warm up to the DA/SA trigger.

I just had my P226 in .357sig out for it's weekly running.

When I get back from this vacation I am looking into getting an elite. I need something a little more dressy than my current black Sigs.
