My New Bersa 9UC Pro range report.

So, went to a friends property for a range day of sorts. There were about 10 of us total, 6 AR15s, 2 tactical shotguns, 6 Glocks, 2 XDs, an HK, a Taurus, a couple 22 revolvers, and my Bersa. So, understandably, it was not the ideal situation for an accurate, controlled day of shooting, but I DID get to put 100rds through my new acquisition.

Here is my first 13rds of Federal 115gr FMJ, at about 25 yards:


Not bad for a relative gun newbie, I think.

As for the Bersa, it was flawless. I even tried a limp wristed, one hand only, as quick as I could pull the trigger, barrage of Blazer CCI Aluminum cased 115gr FMJ, and the Bersa did not miss a beat! All in all I put 100rds through it, including a magazine of Speer Gold Dot self defense ammo. A couple guys had never heard of Bersa (Glock owners, sheesh, heh) and shot my baby and LOVED it. They all said that it felt great, shot great, and the loved the sights. Cool!

Also, I got to shoot an XD Sub Compact 40 cal for the first time. I had never shot a gun with a grip safety, and was surprised how invisible it felt.I liked it. I also shot an AR15, and one of the shotguns too.

I wish it had been a little more controlled, but it was great weather, great shooting with an old friend(known since 3rd grade) and it was FREE

Congrats on the new toy. It sounds like the perfect way to spend an afternoon. The Bersa's are still one of the best kept secrets out there, especially the 9UC Pro. I've put around 300 to 400 rounds through mine so far and have not had a bit of trouble. My 9UC Pro has become my daily carry weapon and is on my hip as I write this. Good luck with it in the future. It's a damn fine pistol.

Congrats, and a nice pic of the first shots. I love my Bersa 380 and wouldn't hesitate to buy a Bersa 9mm.

I also can't think of a better way to spend a Saturday.
