![]() ![]() ![]() | SMith snubbie I would go with a 642, 442 or the like, If you can spare the cash the "super tuned" versions are worth the money. or the Walther PPS ( polymer 9mm or .40) or Walther PPK in a pocket holster by Desantis to help break up the outline and make it look like a big phone or wad of keys, ankel carry may also work if you always wear pants or boots.

![]() | That's a great idea because I almost always have a backpack. I hadn't thought of that. I just have to make sure it's not unattended... ever!

I suggest the largest firearm you feel comfortable with, carried appendix in a holster with no cant (1:00). When I carry my G19 this way (90% of the time) it disappears. Even with just a T-Shirt and shorts on. ![]()

Or, a Kahr CW9, if you've got a little more money to spend. Alternately, a belly band under a loose shirt would be a good method of concealment for any small, single stack 9mm. |

![]() ![]() | Depending on the flavor you prefer, think about a Glock 27 or a Glock 36. The Glock 27 is in 40 S&W, the Glock 36 is in my favorite flavor, the .45 ACP. The Glock 36 appears a bit slimmer, the Glock 27 appears a bit smaller all around. I have had both, both are in appropriate calibers, and you MUST hang onto them whilst shooting. You pay your money and take your choice.

![]() | small carry IMO the PPK is TOO heavy! mine is my office piece. i use a beretta tomcat 32acp w/ slivertip hollow points for cc. very nice and light and accurate. the kel-tec in 380 or 9 is a great choice. lighter and smaller. again, ONLY silvertip hollow points. if your family has a lawyer, ask him about the 'search' protections. and never forget, better to ask forgiveness for shooting the bastard [with your prohibited piece] than to ask for a medic while you lay wounded/dying. just be sure you realize the rules of engagement! you can NEVER shoot to protect property- only to protect/defend LIFE. peace, crazzy |
