I have owned many Colt New Service revolvers and love them. Right now I only have 2- a 1937 mfr.
military model that is of course is a .45acp and a 1926 that has been semi-Fitz'd by a previous owner
and it has a 2in. bbl, glass smooth action and S&W adjustable sights, caliber is .45 Colt.

Very cool! Im assuming this is one like I saw at the D-Day shoot which takes moon clips? Very cool old revolver!
