Mak vs Bersa - Page 2

I don't have any experience with the Bersa, but I've owned several Makarovs. I traded or sold the others, but kept one Bulgie that's proven to be extremely accurate despite the ridiculously tiny sights.

Give modern purpose-engineered SD ammo, I wouldn't feel terribly disadvantaged with either a 9x17 or 9x18, so long as the platform had proven its reliability and accuracy with a given load.

I have been very happy with the bersa. Unfortunatly my wants and interest have changed so i will be getting ride of it. Very good gun though.

I love my mak. The bersa feels a bit lighter, but the mak is solid and 100% reliable.

To me the Makarov is the better gun, feels more robust and sturdy in my opinion. Along with the fact it's rounds have a little more power to them then 380acp, not to mention cheaper.

I myself was thinking about getting a Bersa but decided I would prefer a Makarov due to ammo, and it feeling more durable.

Well I talked myself into the Bersa, and sold my Mak. I can say it was the right decision for ME. The Bersa is a lot lighter, easier to carry. Recoil is about the same, and the Bersa doesn't seem to have the sharp edges.

Like I said... Good decision for me.

I am sorry to hear you sold your Mak. This is one gun I will never sell. They don't build them like that anymore ...
