If you shoot the Glock better, and like it better, the choice is logical. But don't go to the dark side without trying an XD9sc first!

I say keep it, but try others as well before you make a final decision. Then save up your money and buy whichever you end up shooting best with. If its still the G19 then go for it. But do it by buying, not by trading.

Well, usually you enjoy shooting with the gun that you are more accurate with so ...

or you could save and find a good deal on a used one. its always good to diversify

I say keep the M&P. One trip to the range does not a keeper make. Wait 6 months and tell the wife that you've kept your "fun expenses" down and now you'd like to do a $500 splurge.

My wife and I have a deal that for every dollar she spends on landscaping or interior decorating I get a dollar for gun stuff. Maybe something like that can be worked out for the horse. I mean, you want her to have stuff she likes, but she should want you to have stuff you like, too.

You like the M&P, this is just a case of the grass being greener on the other side of the hill. You can suck it up and hold out

I hope this won't cause you to wash your hands of me... But I just can't get myself to like 1911s.

They are quite beautiful, that's for sure. I find the grip safety to be too intrusive.

a firearm is completely a personal preference. I can't tolerate the feel of a Glock, but that's just me.... nothing wrong with Glocks.

...Also... you most likely haven't been shootin' ANYTHING for over 40 years, like some of me.....
