![]() | My Rossi Rant I went to a place which shall remain unnamed, to get a 38 special revolver. I already have a Taurus model 606 2 inch barrel and a Ruger KGP-141 357 mag. I thought that it would be a cheap gun just to have and put in places and keep them there (car or truck) that I would not put nicer guns for fear of them growing legs and walking away. Saw these three Rossi Revolvers and new. Picked them up and looked at them for a while thinking that they were not that bad, cheap but not that bad. I then tried to move the cylinder during lockup to see if it could move. That cylinder moved at least 1/4" side to side. That did not make me comfortable at all. I put it down and instead got a Ruger Vaquiro in 45 long colt LNIB for $325. I didn't get hurt on the deal but I have to rethink what revolvers are of actual good quality. |
