![]() | Missing Bushing? I was disassembling my late father's 1911 Colt Defender .45 series 90, and there's no barrel bushing. Maybe i misunderstood how to correctly disassemble it, or the fact that it's a bull barrel or something obfuscated, but i'm stuck. ![]() ![]() I cleaned what i could, but you can't really take it down without taking the slide off... Couldn't find anything on the internet about it, and i don't want to go all the way to a gunsmith just so he can do it and not show me how. Any ideas? Tips on how to get the slide off? Thanks guys.
