![]() | Ruger LCR Hello, How many here have shot or own a Ruger LCR? I am thinking about picking one up. I think it would be a great little pocket piece. I have been going back and forth between the LCR and a 442 but I like the lighter trigger on the LCR, plus the rounded backstrap and the slightly reduced weight. Also what prices have you guys seen on the LCR in your area? I was quoted $429.00 plus tax Thanks |

![]() ![]() | I have one and same as Joe wasn't to sure about it from the start. For me it took some getting use to, but after about 100 rounds I was having a good time and it is light and can be used as a CC.

![]() ![]() | My friend bought one at the 1500 this weekend for $429. We will be shooting it this weekend so I am looking forward to taking it out to see how it feels. I hear the trigger pull is nice.

![]() | Yes, I meant LCP of course. I do know that LCR is a revolver because I was looking to buy one a month ago. I had the opportunity to handle and shoot an LCR and I was not impressed. It has a cheap, plastic feel to it, and when I compared it to S&W 642 size wise and weight wise, it was bigger and only slightly lighter than the S&W and at about the same price! Having said that, I don't see why somebody would buy one.

![]() | At the 1500, I saw LCRs without the Crimson Trace grips priced from $399 to $529. I have a S&W 642 and have shot the LCR. The LCR's trigger is sweet and in my opinion, much better than the 642's trigger. I'll be getting an LCR eventually. |
