![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | 40 S&W is an excellent caliber for self defense. It is the #1 caliber in use with LE agencies, and hundreds of police action shootings have shown it to be an excellent performer. The round has plenty of energy, velocity and bullet weight/size to get the job done. I like having a bigger bullet with a large hollowpoint cavity at high velocity without sacrificing much capacity compared to 9mm. Also, at least at my local Wal-Mart, there is always .40 ammo in stock. They have 9mm sometimes, and I haven't seen a box of .45 ACP FMJ for a long time. |
