![]() ![]() ![]() | Shot a SIG P250 today. Quite impressed I usually HATE DAO guns that don't have those big round things you put bullets in. ![]() However, the P250 very much impressed me. It would take a little relearning of the trigger as I am spoiled by the semi-auto trigger perfection that is the 1911, but man for a DAO that thing shot well. Also, it actually fit my large orangutan like hands, something the Glock 19 doesn't do. I now understand what Pami sees in that thing. Once I get my Mac paid for, the P250 might be next on the to buy list.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | How does the trigger compare to a glock or a XD? I've got a SigPro 2022 and love it and the 250 looks interesting. My main question is regarding the trigger. It took me a little while to get used to my XD45 (my first DAO type trigger) but I've grown to love it. Same with my Glock 20. Is there a long trigger pull on the 250? ![]() |

| Rifleman ![]() | The P250 "trigger reset" is completely out. Which is to say there is none. ![]() every pull of the trigger is a length DAO pull. However it's about 6lbs rather than most guns 12lb trigger.

THAT is the trigger reset. The trigger will now allow the gun to go bang again without having to let the trigger all the way out. With practice, you can shoot faster by only letting the trigger out to the reset instead of all the way to the full trigger length. With Sigs, I've noticed that the trigger reset is almost all the way out; on my P226, it's about 3/4 of the full pull; on my P250, Lars is right -- it's almost at 100% before I get the click. The couple of Glocks I've shot and paid attention to the reset on have the trigger reset at a fraction of the initial pull -- maybe a quarter of the full length.. maybe.

| Rifleman ![]() | On the P30, the DA trigger pull is maybe 2/3" total travel the SA trigger pull is maybe 1/4" total travel the trigger reset is at about 1/8" give or take. Glocks have much shorter trigger reset points. And according to Shay, Walther P99's have an insanely short trigger reset.
