HK P30

Anyone in the Indy area have a P30?

I THINK that I'd like to have one, but don't know anyone personally who has one.

Of course, I'd like to be able to try before I put it on my "will buy at some point" list.

i have a p30L, but i live in south bend. i can tell you *I* like it though. if that helps.

Have you ever shot a G17? If so, how does it compare, recoil wise?

My only "full sized" 9mm is a Walther P99 and it tends to be a little "flippy", where as the G17s that I've shot have been a sharp straight-back recoil impulse that allows me to be on target again quickly.

Can't do that very well with my P99.

yes i have. it seems to have less recoil and seems to be slightly more accurate. unless thats my mind justifying spending 2x as much on it.

unless youre a flashy kinda guy, like i am, or you have very deep pockets, i cant say i recommend it over a g17.

I have a P 30, partner to the MP 5.

It's a great gun, I sent it to Bill Springfield out in Colorado, he smoothed up the trigger.

Plainfield shooting supply had the p30l in stock this last weekend
