![]() | Carrying a kimber?...help me out So I've got kind of a stupid problem, but some of you may understand my sickness lol. So my carry gun is a Para Ordinance 1911. It's a nice gun, first handgun I ever purchased and it's never given me one bit of trouble, which I love it for. Here's the thing: I've always wanted a kimber. My issues: 1. I prefer to carry the 1911, not my beretta 2. There isn't much of a point in owning 2 almost identical guns (i think) 3. I've kinda always had the "never sell, only buy more" attitude (especially w/ my first handgun ever purchased) 4. I'd have a hard time frequently carrying a $1100 gun (1 scratch would make me ANGRY) 4. I really, really want a kimber, haha. So! What would you guys do? Trade the Para for a kimber? Forget the kimber and keep the para because it's never given me any problems? Keep carrying the para, letting the finish wear off, then buy a kimber as the "prettier" 1911? Here's a pic of mine ![]() Last edited by CVictor; 2 Weeks Ago at 19:25. |

![]() | I think that kinda is the way to go. I could probably upgrade for ~400 (maybe even less) if I found the right deal, but I know I'd be kicking myself for selling the first gun I ever bought, not to mention I bought it new. Do want ![]() |
