![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | BCM 11.5"\ Spike's AR pistol range report Got out to the range with my new BCM\ Spike's 11.5" pistol for zeroing and ammo testing. It was sunny and around 50 deg for the testing. All shots were fired from 50yd using the iron sights. I shot 94 rounds of mixed ammo without one hiccup of any kind. Shot off of a front sand bag most of the time and then shot a few offhand. I am satisfied with the results (detailed below) considering the iron sights and the standard mil-spec trigger (I'm spoiled with my RRA 2-stage triggers). I can see why people like SBRs and will probably have to start the SBR process sometime. It is a fun firearm in it current config though so no buyer remorse. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | REPS! Great Report, and great work. Out of curiosity, are those downloadable targets that you are using there? I like the layout. How fast were you taking your shots and were you using the sling for stability? Very nice build and report. Thanks.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Thanks. I made an excel file for the targets. I can email it to you if you PM me your email. Is there an INGO target repository on the site somewhere? If not maybe we should start one. rested shots were taken with as much time as I needed to try to hit the bull. off hand shots were pretty much taken as fast as I could reacquire the bull I didn't use the sling much this trip since I was shooting at the bench most of the time. I'll try to work it in next time I get to the range. |

I basically shot it as a normal AR using the buffer tube against my shoulder mostly. Recoil was fine and there are no bruises or anything. Shooting like a pistol wasn't too bad either but accuracy wasn't great at 50 yds. | |
