Sig P-250...

How's the trigger?

Compared to other DAO pistols; such as Kahr?

Kahr is long, but SMOOTH, I actually like the trigger on mine; but if you've read my other posting, I probably won't have it much longer...

I can't really compare it to other DAOs, only DA/SAs. It's only about a 6 lb pull, which is great for me when trying to work on my slow and smooth drills, and I think it's incredibly smooth.

If you want to meet up somewhere and shoot it some time to try it out, just PM me.

The pull is light (for DAO) and super smooth. It is longer, but it doesn't seem bad because of how smooth it is. My ONLY complaint is the trigger reset is all the way back out. I like everything else about the gun.

Light and smooth. I have shot a P250 and a Kahr and I like the P250's trigger better and I shot it better. It feels like a S&W DA revolver with a very good trigger job.

Glad to hear, folks...

I just may take you up on the offer to shoot yours one day, Pami. I work on the East Side, so pops isn't out of the realm of possibility.

Right after I posted the initial question, I called AAC down in Mooresville. They had two in stock, so my fiance and I drove down specifically so I could handle one.

Trigger reach was about the same as my Kahr, and maybe just a shade lighter as well. Kahr's trigger seems to stiffen up right near striker release, but the 250's was the same all the way back.

I know that it's designed to have interchangeable grip frames, but the slide/frame fit just seemed a bit...odd. Like could almost see 1/4" worth of rear frame-rails sticking out the back.

But, in general, I do like the size and weight. 15 + 1 capacity is decent too!

It felt chunky to me, but not as chunky as Glock. Of course, my carry guns are a Kahr CW-40 (ahem...) and a S&W 642. Anything's chunky compared to those.

Indy-

As another option, if you were planning on coming to the INGO NFA Day down in Brown County my lil' sis also has the P250 you could shoot (Pami got her hooked). Although I think Pami will be there also, so you'd have one for each hand.

I'm even making a carpool from the Greenwood Gander Mtn to help people save on gas, and I know you're just down the street from there.

Yeah, I've been thinking about that day... Would definitely be loads of fun, that's for sure...

Can't set anything in stone, though. I'll be a newly-wed, plus my soon-to-be-wife has to be back at school on the 8th. Can you believe that Perry Twp. school starts on Aug. 12? Sheesh?

We'll see if I can make it...
