Thumbs up

Don't feel bad. Even much pricier guns are subject to this. "Savage Eagle" posted a video showing a Glock 17 doing very badly with a limp-wrist hold.

Kel Tec are "good folks." Their product can sometimes be a bit rough out of box and I would never buy the first gen of any of their products **but** they do take care of you if you ever need anything. Without excuses or whining... (Ask me why I'll never buy anything EAA has ever touched!)

I've got two Kel Tec pistols that have proven to me I can trust them.

I always figured limpwristing would be a problem with bigger caliber handguns. I never imagined I'd have a problem with a 9mm. Unfortunatly I can't blame tennis elbow. My problem happens to be getting used to the trigger. I've shot a handful of handguns compared to the many rifles/shotguns I've handled, so I'm thinking getting used to a DAO trigger and getting my aim correct is my problem. My hands tend to start shaking after about 100rnds and have to rest for a minute. The gun has some suprising kick for a little lightweight gun. The trigger is awesome compared to the Sigma I previously owned, but for some reason is a little harder to control. I talked to a few other gun owners including Jerry at AAC and that real nice older fellow at Bradis. We all came to the same conclusion that a finger extendtion on the mag, specificlly the dovetail type extender, would greatly improve control of the pistol. I have two ordered for my mags from Bradis and should hear about them soon. I hope these help with my "Gun Control"!

I was very suprised at the results of these videos. While it was pointed out that no one would actually shoot a gun like this, if you are wounded or otherwise impaired, it brings to light some serious questions of reliability.

Sorry you Glock people, but it's there in the flesh, err, metal... I expect swift retrobution so bring it on! LOL J/K

While I've never shot a P-11, I know one of the problems I have with my KT PF-9 is how narrow it is, I ended up putting a Hogue rubber sleeve on my PF-9 and it seems to help with my grip when I shoot it.

I thought about Laser grips when I could afford it. No, my problem is my pinky finger hangs off the bottom and it just doesn't have the control I had with my Sigma, my dad's Sig P226, or even his 357 Ruger Revolver!

This is why you train for such things. Don't blame the firearm for something you didn't train for. Just my
