I like how you left that open to interpretation.

That's awesome....

Although almost all the guns we've owned have been combat tupperware.
Sig P250..... Tupperware
HK P30....... Tupperware
HK USP Tactical...... Tupperware
Glock 19...... Tupperware

Sig P226...... Not Tupperware.

It's just a matter of time before you taste the 1911 kool-aid and find it sweet and refreshing.

Sorry man. Seen too many of them NOT RUN. I refuse to spend $650 - $2500 on a gun I then have to buy a $1500 "Reliability Package" for.....

How many problems did you see with mine last Sunday? 9mm 1911s are probably the most finicky of the breed, and mine works.

I've seen lots of guns of all makes choke. If you want to see a lot of Glocks malfunctioning, go to a GSSF match. Heh.

You may be less likely to get one that is 100% than with a Glock, but it's worth the extra effort. Heck, most $300 Rock Island Armory and Armscor guns function 100%. Same goes for Springfield mil-spec guns, although they're a little more $$$.

But, you're going to do what you want and there is nothing wrong with that.

Congrats on your new Glock purchase! Looks like we both became members of the (ugly) Glock gang yesterday. Mine is a 23. I hope all of the Glock fans on this sight are proven right. I really liked the fact that there was a Glock armorer on duty at the show yesterday. That made several mods quick and easy for me.

It is a funny world. My Kimber got traded for a Glock because I faced it going back to Kimber's repair shop again and was done with it. (yeah Rhino would be more patient, I am not).

On the other hand, my Taurus 1911 never, ever hiccuped. Ever. Ran like a charm. It did end up going, but not for reliability reasons. It went to get something for the wife...

The sad reality is that I am more accurate with my glock even though I miss external safeties and like the 1911 better as a mechanical object. So, for now, I go with what is more accurate in my hand and maybe later I will be able to own both.

That is, so long as the glock does not blow up and take my hand off...
