I was renewing my VIP membership at Midwest Gun and Range when Rocco asked If we would like to have a meet and eat at the range in Elkhart. He said we could order in pizza and bring non alcoholic beverages to meet and eat in their conference room.

Rocco said that he would furnish a couple full auto weapons for us to shoot at NO CHARGE. All we have to do is buy the ammo.

I going to get a list put together of what weapons we can shoot so that we can pick a couple out. You can also shoot your own guns with your own ammo.

Rocco said that Tuesdays will work best since its a slow day.

The date is Tuesday January 31st.
Time to eat will be 6:00 PM
Full auto range time will be from 6:30-8:00 (they close at 8:00)

I will see if its possible to come at 5:00 to shoot personal weapons

Please post if you are able to attend and I will add names to this post.

    Please do.

If I do, my boss may be tagging along, which will be fun and informative for her. While she says she grew up around guns shooting skeet as a girl, the concept of EDC seems totally foreign to her. (She doesnt know that she has sat across the table from me on many business trips while I am carrying. :): I cant carry while working, but I do strap on after "punching the clock") It might be fun to get her behind an MP5.

I am in! If we shoot something FA in a 9mm I will bring 500 rounds.

I think you HAVE to use their ammo in the rentals.

    This ^^

It would only be right to purchase their ammo since we are using their rentals at no charge and range.

The ammo has to be purchased there. It is to protect their assets. They have a lot of money tied up in thier equipment.
They normally charge a $65 per weapon cleaning fee, so we are getting a nice perk from Midwest.

I will contact Rocco and get a list put together. I will try to get pricing on Ammo as well.

The couple times I have shot the FA weapons there it seemed like 9mm was the best deal. It is on sale for $10 per 50 rd box.
The mags hold 30 but they usually just put 25 in so you can shoot twice.

I know they have the following platforms:
    9mm
    45 acp
    223
    7.62x39

Please post up if you are a maybe, in, or if things change so I can update.

Dis gon be a gud time of chootin and fellershipin.
