INGO PW Shoot #3 - November 6th, 2010

THis is going to be held on some property that my family owns. It is in the country just outside of Oakland city in South west Indiana.

There is plenty of room to shoot up to a few hundred yard range. I will find a car to shoot up.

November 6th,

if you want to rabbit hunt bring the shotgun.

9am to 5pm

8:30 if you want to kill some rabbits.

3244 S 950 E Oakland City, IN 47660-8410

Directions from Hwy 57 & 64 near Oakland City.

Drive west on 64, first road south (left) is 950 E. Turn left. Go south until you see a church on the left(aprox 2 miles). Our property surrounds the church. Pull Up through the church driveway along the bldg and drive behind it. There behind the church we will have parking set up in the field.

Ok. Here is the current list of Attendees. I'll TRY to keep it updated.

If you are a "maybe" and you think you should be an "attending" post it, I'll change it. These are just my best guesses from all the pages of posting.

If you are interested in training, Please let me know (by PM OR by posting it) and I can add a (T) by your name. This allows HandK to properly plan for the event. Just so you know... IT'S FREE!

Here is a brief training description:

It is a Close Quarter's Combat Course, Defensive Pistol, It is for anyone that Carry's a gun for self defense, and teaches you point shooting 101.

It's Self Defense shooting that you likely have never had before. It's good stuff, and essential for saving your life if you should happen to find your self in the unfortunate position of getting in a shooting to save your or a family members life.

You will need 300 to 500 rounds 500 is better!! Also a OWB (outside the waistband holster) Leather or a Kydex type, Nylon ones don't hold up for the course. If you carry IWB (Inside the waistband) thats fine but not for the course it is a safety thing!! you will learn the skills to take back with you and practice with your IWB, but for safety's sake OWB only please, also you will need at least two extra mags for the gun you are taking the course with and a belt holder for those mags, if you don't have a mag holder you could work outta your pocket, but a belt holder is better.

This is some nice open land with a ravine to shoot into.
There is enough room to shoot in one place and run drills in another.

Im not in there group, but I do go to there shoots.

Kimmi is too freakin' accurate. It almost annoys me how well she shoots a rifle.

I do think if we do a little organizing ahead of time (a few people setting up early) it could be a little less chaotic on the firing line, which wouldn't be a bad thing.

Im close so I can be there much earlier than 10 am if necessary
