    Pssst, over here
Just signed up earlier this week. Hunted a little as a teenager with friends but hadn't touched a firearm in over 25 years. Pops still has that Winchester Model 97 sitting in the closet.
Anyway, now with a son coming of age it's high time I learn proper rifle, shotgun and handgun skills so I can teach him and have him get training as well.
Starting off small (collection and caliber) but with one of everything I'll be reading all the forums.
    So far...
    M&P .22lr
    Savage Mark II .22lr
    Mossberg International SA-20
I want to get a semi automatic .22lr but not having any luck figuring out what I want to go with (or if I could find it right now anyway), from what I've read so far it would seem a 10/22 would be the obvious answer but for some reason I am not leaning that way. I like the Savage, if a semi had the accu-trigger it would be a no brainer for me. Eventually want/need a bigger handgun but that's down the road a bit.
Have seriously enjoyed everything I have read so far. This site and the contributors are an awesome source of info.
    Peace.
