Hello, I'm relatively new to gun ownership, but I've been a lifetime supporter of our 2nd Amendment rights. I love the idea behind this online community.

I've visited all Indianapolis-area ranges and I've noticed the long lines and lack of options.

I'm currently exploring an opportunity to open a safe, fun indoor pistol/rifle range in northeast Indianapolis.

I would be interested in any feedback from you. What options you would like to see (paper target carriers? Static or knockdown reset steel targets?) If you live in the area how often would you go? What are issues you have with other local ranges?

    Thanks,
    Erin R.

What we need is a shoot house :)

Resetting steel would be nice, target carriers for paper probably a must. Good set of rental pistols ( the more, the better) would probably be a good investment - lots of folks don't seem to get a chance to try the pistols they are considering before they buy them.

I think a local indoor range that allows/has steel is a GREAT idea!

    I might be a little biased....lol.
If this ball gets rolling, let us know if we can help at all. We'd be glad to!

From Sullivan Co., welcome to INGO!!

Personally rather be outdoors, but if you need ideas ...

    Adequate ventilation
    Good lighting
LOTs of room in the lobby for the lines (I like BGF but it is a "zoo" when they first open. I will never go back at when they open for the day.)

    :welcome: from Mitchell!

You might want to start a new thread under, maybe, the "General Firearms" subsection. You'll probably get better discussion than here, in the "Introductions" section.
