My name is Todd. I was born in Indiana and have lived here all but a dozen of my 52 years. I'm a Real Estate Broker and investor so I really do have a good reason to carry as I go into a lot of vacant properties and some are not in the best neighborhoods! I got my LTCH and my first cheap snub-nosed revolver 11 years ago. Just started really appreciating, learning and collecting quality firearms within the last 2 years. To say I've gone a bit overboard might be an understatement. I am a collector (hoarder?!?) by nature. I also collect all types of art, Swiss watches, rocks, fossils and minerals. I look forward to learning, contributing, and in general being a part of this community.

Just barely made the club but I'll take it!

Welcome to INGO, ammmorph. You just secured membership as a "super gun owner". :)
The magic number is 17 and I hit that exactly! Just barely made the club but I'll take it. I'll have to make sure not to sell anything until I add something so I can maintain my membership. That's the excuse I'll give my wife anyway! Think it will work?

Wow. A Golden Boy in .357. Some day, when I grow up...
    Long pause for a daydream...

Oh... Welcome to the group. And hey, it seems you have good taste in firearms.

Thanks for the welcome. The Henry Big Boy 357 mag is a joy to shoot. It gets lots of attention at the range. They have great prices on them at Sportsman's Guide (plus the 4 payment option make it irresistible!)

    Welcome to INGO.

It's a tough call but if I had to pick one I would go with the Springfield XDM 5.25in 45ACP. It has a very good capacity of 13+1 in the knock down powered 45ACP. The extra velocity from the longer barrel is a big plus. Very accurate 5.25" hammer forged steel, melonite match grade barrel. Fiber optic front & fully adjustable target rear sites. One piece full length guide rod. Slide cut out to compensate. Excellent ergonomics and superb reliability. Set up to enter competitions right out of the box. Very easy to field strip and clean. The cost is very reasonable as well. This gun is so good Hickok45 actually paid money to keep one after he shot it!

All that being said, I hope I don't ever have to choose just one.

    Hi-de-ho, neighbor!

Looks like you're having a hard time deciding on a self defense caliber.:welcome:

Yes, my name is Todd and I have a problem....
My everyday carry is the Sig P938. Keep the XDM 45 in the nightstand. I really have no use for the 10mm's but I just am infatuated with that caliber.
