 | Hello from Bloomington Hey Everyone, Glad I found this place. Was about to go to Don's since I didn't know about any other stores in the area, but I decided to do a bit more research, and am I glad I did after reading some of the stories about the place  One question - am I missing something, or is Bloomington pretty much a black hole as far as gun ranges and shops? I was trying to find someplace local for shopping and shooting, but it doesn't look like there's much around - I don't mind driving to Indy for shopping, but it's a bit of a trip to go regularly to practice >.< |

  | Welcome! We have lots of Btown members here. As for ranges, I know some of them drive up to the Martinsville Conservation Club, which I've been to and its very nice. PM 'mettle' for details.

| Welcome fellow Bloomingtonian! Martinsville Sportsmans Conservation Club is 25 minutes north. Hoosier Hills National Forest is 15 minutes south. Riley Conservation Club is 45 Minutes west. That about covers it. I personally use the first two and just did some youtube clips of me blasting away this weekend. It's a great place.

| Welcome from southern indiana. As the others said there are a bunch of bloomington members. Just google gun shops in bloomington. I know there is a place called Four Seasons there, they're on gunbroker a lot.

| Gunshops: MCSports (my favorite hands down for new stuff) Dick's Sporting Goods Small Shops/FFL's/Smiths: Chuck's Gun Repair Four Seasons Leathers Limited Ammo/Parts: Traildust Army/Navy I am probably missing something, this is off the top of my head.

|  I 2nd what Techres wrote. MCSports has lots of stuff and Andrew the manager is a wealth of knowledge. I would recommend starting their for many of the different firearms needs. Another direction to take; there are many online retailers that you can get a host of quality parts and 'walls of ammo' from. Martinsville range has a nice 'woodsy' setting which I like. Membership is required though. I'll PM you when I plan on heading up there so you could be my 'quest'. |

| Thanks for the greeting, and the tips - I figured Bloomington was big enough that there must be something that I was overlooking. I'll have to check MC Sports, I didn't realize they had firearms and I'm on the SW side of Bloomington, so it's close to home. |
