  | New to INGO in Plainfield! Hi, I'm here to say hey! Looking to learn somethings for myself but more to educate my family. I have 9, 6, and 3 year old girls and a 2 yer old son. The oldest who is >nearing< the maturity level to learn gun safety and my fiance is new to firearms all together. I hope with everyone's help not only can we learn something, but also that we can stand together to secure and protect all of our freedoms we all take for granted everyday.  | Welcome. You'll find that an armed forum is a polite forum. I am unaware of any other youngin's on the board, but I'll do my best to mind my manners since we've got new friends. Glad to have them.

| Don't worry too much about the youngin's. They won't be viewing a whole lot if at all. But I do look forward eventually meeting some people at the ranges. I'd LOVE to find an outdoor range on the westside that doesn't charge outrageous! LOL Right now I'll settle with Popguns since I plan on my fiance and I training there in the near future. Once I get my CCP in a couple weeks that is!  |

|  At the NRA Basic Handgun course Pami and I took on Saturday the mentioned this program The Eddie Eagle Safety Program As a side note, that basic handgun course from the NRA is a fantastic place to get started with firearms. Pami reviewed the class HERE.

| I would love to sign up for it, but as a family of 6 we have very little money. But as an NRA member and Eagle Scout, I've been scouting out many of the programs and the one at Pops seems to be the most affordable. |
