  | Been here a while - my story and why I'm looking to meet other members Ok, that was a long title, but I couldn't get it down any shorter. Here's my story. I became a member here around a year ago I think, maybe a little longer. In that time, my wife and I had our first child. My son was born last year on November 24, and was born with numerous birth defects. He fought a very long time, and had many surgeries, but on September 24, just three weeks ago, he went home to the Lord. He was 10 months old, and we never even were able to take him home from the hospital. My wife and I are both pouring our spare time into activities/hobbies to stay busy. Since shooting is an interest for both of us, but mostly for me, I'd like to get to know some of the people on this board, and maybe attend some of these group gathering that I've been reading about. So if anyone is in the Pendleton, Anderson, Fishers area and wants to have a get-together, drop my a PM. I had a membership to the FCVCC last year, and will be paying my dues for the rest of this year and next year soon. I'd like to meet some of you, go shooting, and just try to get out of the house for a while. Anyway, that's my store. Thanks for reading. |

Their are a lot of good members here, stay and I assure you, you will make new friends. If you ever get up around the Fort Wayne area, holler and I try to meet you and maybe we can get together for some shooting.

  | Welcome back to INGO. You have my heartfelt condolences for the loss of your son. Words cannot soothe the grief you and your wife are going through, but you will find many wonderful friends here on INGO. It's an extended family in a lot of ways. My prayers are with you and your wife.

| My condolences on your loss. I would have better words, but there simply are none. As for shooting. There are many INGO members up that way. Take a look at the MSG thread and see what is going on that way. Appleseed is having a weekend shoot in Ft. Wayne next month. God bless and keep all of you.

| Bruenor, I'm very, very sorry to hear of the loss of your son. My condolences to both you and your wife. I assure you there are some great people here, and that there will be some that will take you up on the offer for a get together. I'm too far away, but next time I'm out at the range, I'll definitely fire some off in honor of your family.

| I am very sorry for your loss. I could not imagine what it must feel like to loose a child. God bless you and your wife. Marion county fish and game holds an open steel match the second friday each month at 5:30 pm. It cost nonmembers $15 to shoot. Its a lot of fun and you will get to meet a lot of shooters . |
