So, where are the best kept secrets in Central Indiana?

Best places to buy cheap ammo?

Good places to do some target shooting?

Like I said, this is my first handgun (I've fired many guns before this, but this is the first I've owned) and I want to make sure I do the proper research before I have fun with it.

If you don't already have one, you'll need to get a License to Carry Handgun (LTCH) before you can take it to a range. That said, there are several sticky threads in the various subsections of INGO that answer your questions pretty thoroughly.

Yeah, I plan on getting my lifetime carrying permit next payday. Until then, it's staying in the safe in my room.

Welcome to INGO. Ammo isn't cheap anywhere anymore :(
Plainfield Shooting Supplies seems to get high marks for overall prices on firearms.

Lots of places to shoot, but very few of them that are close to Noblesville are open to the public. The place in Cicero should be open in a couple months though.
