No disagreement from me. Aside from the laws, Pasadena is supposed to be one of the nicer places in the L.A. and it was just densely populated sprawl punctuated by some houses that look nice that are so close to each other than you can barely walk between the houses...and palm trees. I guess people value weather over everything.
