I go in this store on a regular basis, but have yet to purchase a firearm there. Honestly, the prices are really a bit high compared to what I can buy for at other stores. I will always try to support my local guy if I can. I went in on Friday and he had two used shields. One in 9mm and one in .40. I was honestly surprised at the pricing compared to what I've seen out there, so I bought the 9mm. I've always liked the shop and the people there and was more than happy to finally make a firearm purchase there as well.

Just a quick follow up to this store. I stopped in yesterday and was happy to see not 1 but 2 glock 42's available. I got a bit excited thinking the wifey would be happy with it for a small concealed carry. Then, I saw the price. 569!!!! I almost puked. They asked if I wanted to see one and I laughed out loud. I said I'd buy both but not anywhere near that kind of ridiculous price. They didn't bat an eye even after I explained what they were being sold for around 450-475 everywhere else in town. Needless to say I left and proceeded to head to elmores where they had one for sale and it now resides in my safe. It drives me nuts that I have to leave my own local shop to drive to the southside to get a reasonable price on a gun. No hard feelings. I'll continue to go there and if something is priced right, I'll buy it.

I had their smith install some sights on my HK once. He left a mark on my slide that I didn't notice until I got home and the pricing was a bit silly. Everyone was friendly though.

I frequent there, mostly to look. Friendly, but high prices. Can't see myself buying a gun there.

I've since bought some stuff there. They are sometimes hit and miss on prices. I buy if it's a good price and don't if it isn't. Good people and I love a local lgs in my hometown.

they are willing to deal a little on their prices I went in with my mother in law a few weeks back and he came down a good bit for a walther pk380

This thread was started in 2013. Not a real fan then just like I'm not now. I've always been treated nicely, but they are way to proud of their guns for me to buy anything there. I bought a shield once as it was a great price. Past that never had any luck.
