thanks for the info about his hours. I work a schedule that would allow me to make it in on weekdays during the day so the limited hours are not TOO big of a problem for me. I know it sounds selfish to hope that he don't close the store, but given the choices we have in the area that is indeed my hope. Like I said before it sounds like working in the store is acting as some sort of therapy for him. I hope he gets through this regardless of if he closes the shop or not. Nobody should have to go through that. EVER.

In fact I was just over in downtown CP friday evening heading to a relative of my g/f and drove right BY the store and didn't even realize it til I looked it up on a google map.

What the f&ck are you talking about? I've had a dozen on order from AIM since before thanksgiving. How does "thinking" you're getting a good deal on a mag you will NEVER see compare to having the mags in your hand?

You can be put on lists all day long. Hell, I'm on the list to bang Jenna Jameson.

Anyone and everyone will put you on a GD list these days. They know that almost noone will get the product much before they will (everyone close to the same time) so they might as well put your name in a computer and wait (or make you wait.) No skin off their back.

Rock River Arms will sell you a stripped lower for $129 though. You will NEVER see that lower though.

You know who will get those PMags when they come in? NOT you. Aim will take them to a nearby show and dump 'em at $20 a pop before they fill your order. Not saying they're crooks, just saying they're smart.

Pro, not trying to argue, just pointing out that IF you can find PMags in stock, then it is likely that you will find them in the $25 price range, and its not hard to find them at even higher prices. I know Chuck was giving deals on PMags to people who bought 4 or more of them, so the price on his sticker was negotiable because I know a guy who got some for a few bucks less, and he got them at the show this weekend.

The fact is that many people simply can't find quality magazines and many shops are on indefinite back order. I was buying PMags by the case from Charles Daly, they are now on 2 to 3 month +++ backorder and no longer taking names. I did find Lancer L5s at Bravo Company, bought 40 of them with 1-cent shipping. But most people buy 1 or 2 magazines, buy them at shop and to those folks, or to the folks who are not willing to wait, then they will be paying a bit of a premium but they will not be waiting MONTHS to get them.

Heck I can 'buy' a Rock River Arms upper, the problem is that I can't actually get it from Rock River. Lead time seems to be running over 6 months. Many folks seem to find the same issue with magazines and would simply rather buy a handful of them, pay a bit more but ACTUALLY have them in their safe.

AIMS is one of the most reputable dealers in the country. Trying to impugn them is pathetic.

You speak of back orders? Hell I just had 25 pmags show up last week from botach of all places!
