I left Indy when I was 17, so when I moved back here one of the things I couldn't believe still existed was Don's. Another member of this forum and I went to check out Don's 6 to 7 years ago when I moved back here. As we drove up there were two cops cars in front, lights flashing. I look at my buddy and I'm thinking this cant be good. As we start to walk in a cop is coming out, pissed, really pissed off. My buddy says to the cop "is it safe to go in there?" and the cop growls back "is it ever safe to go in there!". We went in and were told that someone had been accidently shot on the indoor range. We look around for a few minutes and I was amazed, the price's were completely outrageous. So I'm thinking who in the hell would buy a gun from here? Hmm...I wonder.
I would say calling Don's a circus or freak show is a fair comparison. You couldn't pay me to shoot on the range there.
