Switz City Guns?

I used to go down that way on the way to Holiday World with the family. Last time by, they were closed up and the building was vacant. I seemed to be a descent shop back in the day.

I went by there yesterday and noticed it looked empty.

I think they have been closed for a LOOOOOOONG time. Maybe 2 years.

I used to take a stretch my legs/lunch break there when driving back from Evansville, was a nice place and friendly people always there.

I stopped in about 2 years ago looking for a particular item. I was always impressed by his wide selection of firearms to find zero guns. I did chat with the owner who told me that he gave up his license after what he felt was continued harassment by the ATF. His story, but a loss of another large gun shop with a large in stock selection of firearms.

I had heard that there were used guns that were going through there that weren"t making a stop on the books and that one of them was traced by the ATF when it was connected to a drug crime. I DO NOT know that to be fact. I just heard that as gun shop gossip. Just wondering if anybody knew what the real story was. It seemed to be a nice little shop in it's day.

Don't know if it was true but I heard employee's stole from him,guns were missing and no paper work on them.Plus the ATF fined him big.

they did close down, he did give up his license, i dont know the reasoning
