POP GUNS & MOM - Page 2

I'm a range member at pops and have known Mike since i bought my 1st hand gun when i was 21. Hes good people! And have always been treated well at pops! And i like to bug em! The XD was the first gun i looked at, and i don't think i had the chance to look at another before my mother had said she was buying it for me. Was kinda a lottery pick, What if i had a POS in my hand? She paid 587$ after taxes and a 30$ holster. I like to carry in the waist. 519$ was the sticker price. Is that decent for an SA-XD-9? They was nice before mom spent 1000 on guns. If they wasn't she would have walked away! P.S. SHES TAKING ME TO THE CASINO TOMORROW TOO

Price is a little high, but its a business. I paid $459 for mine + taxes.

Theres the real reason you're treated that way..... friends w/ Mike, most people dont have that expierence at Pops. I used to buy from them at the other store. But now, its hard to get service unless you are a: friend, range member, LEO or just willing to subject yourself to the "place".

Its like "Cheers" when my son and I walk into Bradis, I used to part time there and have known Bob and Lisa since the '80s..... but I also realize not everyone expierences that there either.

Good for you and your Mom, sounds like a good time for both. But yes, any shop on the south side has their pistols tagged cheaper and then will come down even more..... especially cash right now.

Possibly true. But i have had good experiences at all the shops i visit. Shop on the south side? What shop and where? Mom bought me the 1st gun i touched price wasn't a factor. I didn't even get a chance to really choose. But I'm not stupid.... i will never turn down a free XD. lol I have 5 hand guns now! Is that enough to be called a collection?
