![]() | AAC I saw a Springer Operator for sale on an auction board. Contacted the shop by phone since I wanted to do a trade for the gun. First time i called was put on hold for over twenty minutes. Finally hung up. Tried calling back and got no answer repeatedly. Finally got thru and was told they would figure a "deal" and call me. Sent them another email about 430 in the afternoon. Finally got a call back at six, and we reached a deal, pending their seeing my gun was in the condition I described. They said they would pull the auction and hold the gun until I came down Saturday (this was Thurs night). They called me back within ONE minute to say they tried to pull the ad but already had a bid, so could no longer trade for it. When I checked on my computer once i got home, I found that the bid didn't come in until a few minutes after the time we talked. But what was more frustrating was an email I found to me from the owner stating the deal was accepted, he would pull the auction and hold the gun for me. The email was time stamped almost 30 minutes before the nid was registered. To me, a deal had been reached and I think it was wrong to back out because they were too slow to live up to their word and close the auction before any bids came in. One final complaint to pass along. I even emailed the owner the next day and said "ok, stuff happens" and asked him what other similar guns he might have that we could deal on. He said he would check it out and see what he could find. that was almost a week ago, and not another word. I guess they don't need any new business.

![]() | Ive never had a problem like that with AAC. Always had the exact opposite, best customer service there around. I know last time I was there they were packed, and had guns from a collection on top of every display case. But shit does happen. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I have only been to AAC twice, didn't buy anything, but then again I wasn't looking for anything either, I was treated very well both times. That being said, I can easily see how this whole situation turned out like it did. Way too many variables. 1) Gun was already on an auction site. 2) Buyer wanted to do a trade. 3) Seller was slow to stop auction, and a bid got placed. Personally, I would let this go and fore go the -1, and chock this up as a shit happens event. (That being said, I do have alot of patience, hell I am still waiting on a gun that I ordered and paid for in February.) |

![]() | I'm sorry, but as soon as I was told, both on the phone and by email that "it's a deal, we'll pull it and hold it for you", I consider a deal was struck. I tshould have been handled just the same as the "buy it now" feature on an auction, and the bidder told item was already sold. For not following thru on your word, I consider a -1 getting off easy.

| Walking Tall Amongst The Sheeple | I go to AAC alot. Jerry's a good guy, never had a problem with him. He gets pretty busy in that little store and you have to understand most times i'm in there, it's just him behind that counter. Regardless, a little patience goes a long way with him. He'll be the first to admit a mistake and correct it if possible. I'm sure had you called back or stopped in, he'd made it right. Chances are you won't find a better deal on an in-stock gun anywhere else in the area. And he's a Class 3 dealer. Today I was in there and he had two of the little shorty shotguns classified as AOW's. And a real nice .50BMG Barrett in the back! ![]()
