The something isn't quite right SBR build

OK, SBR build in progress... need some ideas.

I thought I figured out this build but I don't know if I can get used to how high the ACOG sits. The VLTOR CASV-EL raises the sight about .5". That's just high enough that I'm not sure if I can get a good check weld. The reflex sitting on top of the ACOG is way up there.

The other issue I'm wondering about is the VLTOR is meant for a regular front sight. I could get a barrel with a regular sight but with a short eye relief AGOC will there be room at the rear of the rail to mount a BUIS?

I like the VLTOR hand guard. I love the ACOG.

I looked at those Magpul risers. They have two heights.

I just saw an Apex hand guard on another board. I like that look. I've never seen those before.
