Now, i have several ideas on how to deck it out.

    Carry handle
    or
    Millet DMS

    what say ingo?

also, does anybody have any links to what is needed to put an a2 buffer tube on it so i can put a skeleton stock on it to match my full size ar?

also, does anybody have any good reading to see if the precision barrel and match trigger are worth the extra $$$?

oh, and if you got one, post a pic!

    The DMS is a heavy pig......I wouldn't put it on a .22
Agreed, however, the M&P15-22 is much lighter than a standard AR so adding the DMS may bring it more to the realm of the same feel and heft. Having said that, I am gettin gone too, the MOE version, and am going to mount a micro sight from Primary Arms!:rockwoot:

I have put over 1,200 rounds through my 15-22. It has eaten everything I have fed it, and I have had 0 issue. It's nothing to hit a 5" targets at 50 yards all day with the factory sights.

Technically, you would just need to cut the old extension off, and thread the receiver. I have no idea how the fiberglass / resin material in the M&P would behave, and you would only get one shot. I would be a little reluctant to try it, but have done stranger things. If you do it, make sure to post pics!

    kill light 250
and a primary arms green dot on a 45.

I have decided this is my next gun purchase as well. I shot my brother's 15-22 equipped with a red dot and plenty of magazines while I was in FL over the summer, and now I "need" one of these.

Not to ruffle any feathers, but why not get a dedicated 22 upper for your full AR?

When my wife ungrounds me, My next gun is going to be an AR15 in the obvious 223, but will also be getting a dedicated 22 upper for it as well...
