Been working on my Mauser finally got the action all bedded in the stock, an got everything finally put back together. Still waiting to get my bolt back and I got to get a scope for it. Just glad to see it back in one piece again, cant wait to put some rounds down range and see how it does:rockwoot:

Nice gun. I have a 98K still in its original form. Its an awesome gun. I would love to set the barrel in a sporter stock and get the super tune-up done to it. But Im waiting to get a few kids grown up and on their way. Meanwhile it still does a good job in its War uniform.

Did you re-barrel or slice and dice the military barrel?

You don't go half-way, do you? Great looking rifle......

Now I know why you were asking about accurate 8mm loads in that other thread.

You are a sly dog. I will have to keep my eyes on you. LOL

You added a 20 round mag, right?

My question is how? Is that some after market item?

451_detonics posted the pic with the 20 round mag. I think it is called a trench mag. It was developed in the War to end all wars to give more firepower to the soldier.

I have one. Sitting on the shelf. It replaces the trigger plate on the Mauser.

Are you panting for it yet?

    PM me.

No, it won't. I tried it. I was going to offer to send it to you to try before you buy, but I already know that the 308 is too short and it does not feed.

I think the 8mm or 30.06 will work. Let me know if you want to play with it.

I will ship it to you to try. I trust you.
