I picked up one of these for my daughter, instead of a cricket. It was about $50 more but I thought it may be worth it. Definately has a better trigger!

Anybody have one of these and if so, what is your take on it???

I know, and beside that the controls are all light...the break open and the hammer cock--perfect for a kid. I am not sure my daughter could cock a cricket.

My experience with other T/C products leads me to believe that this would be everything you want and more. I've had nothing but good experience with Thompson Center. Let us know how it works for you.

Bought one for my boy. He loves it. Serial number 0023 so that is pretty cool. Only problem is that it shot really high first time we took it out. Sent it back to smith and turns out it had a bent barrel from the factory. All fixed now. Single shot, peep sights, pistol grip for small hands, seems perfect to learn on.

Well, she has shot it and did well with it--but she wants to camo it.....I gues its hers, we can do that if she likes. I shot it too, and it is pretty slick indeed.
