    I thought other Garand fans would like this. Sorry if this has been posted before. Found this while looking for some reloading information.

    Video shows the M1 cycling at 1200 frames per sec. Even has a short comparison to an AR in terms of cyclic rate.

    I've never seen that. Pretty cool.

    I've seen a slo-mo video of a Mini 14 cycling and it sets the case spinning really fast and flings it 30 feet away.

    The M1 action works perfectly without putting so much energy into the ejected brass.

    Shot my first Garand around 1984. Loved it. My older brother and I were recently talking guns. He said he could not believe I never bought one. Cool rifle! Maybe some day.

    VERY cool. Thanks for posting. I really need to get my old girl out and shoot it. I need to buy more 30-06...I only have a few bandoleers.

    Also, I'm thinking that the way the case spins around and smacks against the operating handle, is the same with the Mini 14, and which is why almost every case ends up with a dent in the side.
