Kidding aside, I tend to think you got the better end of the deal.
I would believe you are ahead a few hundred bucks.

I have a Daewoo D200 with an Ace folding stock. The D200 is a AR/AK rifle mix that works well as a piston operated rifle.

I think the guy that traded it away still carried the idea that Asian things are crappy or just didn't care. You got lucky with this one.

I have a Chinese SKS that I'll trade you for it. It has the much-sough-after Clinton era "dragunov" stock made of hi quality polymer. I think I have the [strike]bayonet[/strike] monpod for it, too.
