Cva 35 rem hunter

Went and picked up my rifle today. Cva Hunter 35 rem with a 22 in barrel. Slapped a scope on it I had laying around but I think it's a little to much so I'm thinking about a 3x9x50. Can't wait to get brass and load up some loads up! Can't figure out how to upload a pic or I'd put one on here

My .35 rem wears a 2-7X.
So does my buddy's (his a CVA).
Shot both of my deer at 4X or less. Max D maybe 75 yards.

I also have a 2-7x on my 35 Remington Contender and it usually stays at the low end where I hunt.
