Ruger has several guns that are not in their catalogue or on their website.

For Valentine's Day I picked up this one for my daughter.

Gander Mountian have them in thier store flyer page 2 for $199.00 til April 30th

humm... I was just there last night and didn't see one... Oh well, I've got other firearms higher up on the list.

I have handled one at the Gander store and if I had the money, it probably would have went home with me. I would just slap some tech sights on it and get some Tactical Innovations 25 round mags and I will have my uber-tactical 10/22 plinker all set.

Get one now, there is a big uproar on rimfirecentral as all the 2008 model 10/22s have plastic trigger guards, plastic barrel bands, and maybe something else, I can't remember what all. People were not very happy with the changes, but worst of all they are supposedly not done that well at all.

I will be looking for a good deal on an old stock one soon I suppose just to have a second one around myself. Love those 10/22s!
