| Expert ![]() | WIW: Rem 870 barrel and wood? Ive got an 870 that Im converting to a tactical/HD weapon. So the stock long barrel will be off of it, and the wood stock and fore grip will also be gone. barrel is in solid shape, with some of the bluing worn off on the bottom side from rubbing the for grip and magazine. the wood is in decent shape with some small nicks in the stock. fore grip has a couple small nicks, but looks pretty good. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() So what are they worth???? Or are they even worth getting rid of? thanks, clay

| Expert | i would keep them just in case you decide to go bird hunting some time so it doesnt look like you are doing a full on assault on the birds. but if you dont bird hunt or just dont care, then you can see what people are selling theirs for on gunbroker or ebay, and throw them up for sale. oh and keep the barrel and saw it off if you dont want it to be full length.

You may get a couple bucks (10-20) out of the barrel, but nobody is really buying them because they are from pretty much the most common shotgun out there. I did the same thing a couple months ago. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | You should be able to get $50-75 for the barrel and maybe $20-30 for the stock set. Remington 870 Express barrel 12 gauge : Barrels at GunBroker.com |
